Over mining areas across Mozambique and Brazil, working as one group.
A mining group, not a single .
SG Mining Group brings together more than 50 mining areas across Mozambique and Brazil, and works them as one group rather than as 50 separate operations.
Between them, the areas cover a broad spread of resources: oil, gold and diamonds; copper, nickel and zinc; iron ores, manganese and chromium; critical metals such as niobium, tantalum and the rare earths; gemstones; and the industrial minerals that glass, ceramics and fertiliser are made from.
The group also partners with local miners, giving them the platform and infrastructure to sell their minerals internationally.
Buyers and partners deal with one group across both countries. Grade, form and volume are confirmed area by area and mineral by mineral, against each enquiry.
Mozambique and .
The group's areas lie in two countries: Mozambique, in southern Africa, and Brazil, in South America. More than 50 mining areas between them, worked as one.

From oil and gold to .
The group's areas cover energy, precious and base metals, iron and alloy ores, critical metals, gemstones and industrial minerals. Grade, form and volume are confirmed per area against each enquiry.
From exploration to .
Each area is worked for what its own ground holds. The group carries it from first assessment through to a confirmed supply.
Exploration
New ground is explored and assessed before it is worked, and joins the group where the geology and the engineering case hold up.
Extraction
Each area is worked for the minerals its ground holds, using the method that mineral calls for.
Processing
Where a mineral calls for it, material is crushed, screened, washed or concentrated before it moves.
Grade & specification
Grade, form and volume are confirmed per area and per mineral, against each enquiry, rather than averaged across the group.
Supply to buyers
Material is supplied raw or processed, depending on the mineral and what the buyer needs, under the terms agreed for each contract.

How the group .
Every area follows the same path, from first assessment to a confirmed supply. The methods differ by mineral; the sequence does not.

Local mines, international .
The group partners with local miners, giving them the platform and infrastructure to sell their minerals internationally. It also takes on new ground and long-term offtake partners where the case holds up.
Let's talk .
Tell us the mineral, volume, grade and destination you need. We will come back with what the group can supply and on what schedule. Local miners looking to sell internationally: tell us what you produce and where.
